A youth jersey is not simply a smaller adult jersey. Torso length, shoulder width and sleeve opening all scale differently, which is why an adult small often swamps a twelve-year-old even when the chest measurement looks right.

What sizes do youth baseball jerseys come in?
YS through YXL, with adult S through 4XL available on the same order for coaches and older players.
How do we size a team without a fitting day?
Order a free sizing sample set. Most programs pass a set of samples around at a practice, record sizes on the roster sheet, and send it back in one go.
Will the numbers crack after a season?
Not with sublimation - the dye is bonded into the fibre, so there is no surface layer to crack or peel. Screenprinted and vinyl numbers can crack with repeated washing.
