Cuts, and who wears them
Pant style is mostly convention rather than performance. Knowing what your level typically wears saves a round of proofs.
| Cut | Length | Typically worn by |
|---|---|---|
| Full-length | To the shoe | High school, college, most adult leagues |
| Knicker | Below the knee | Travel ball, throwback looks, fastpitch |
| Tapered | To the ankle, narrow leg | Modern travel and club programs |
| Short | Above the knee | Slowpitch and rec softball |
Piping, pinstripes and colour blocking
Sublimation is what makes proper pinstriping possible on a custom order. Because the pattern is printed on the panel before the garment is cut, stripes line up across the seam rather than breaking at it - the detail that separates a real uniform from a decorated blank.
- Pinstripes aligned across seams
- Single or double piping down the outseam
- Contrast waistband and belt loops
- Team colour matched to Pantone
Fabric and reinforced knees
Knees are where pants fail. Every pant we cut for youth and fastpitch programs has double-knee reinforcement as standard, because a single-layer knee on a dirt infield is a one-season garment.

Youth and adult sizing
Youth pants are cut shorter in the rise as well as the leg, so a YXL is not an adult small with the hem taken up. Free sizing samples are available on orders over [X] players.
Team pricing and minimums
Minimum is [MOQ] pairs for team pricing. Replacement pairs on an existing design have no minimum, which is how most mid-season orders come through.

Frequently asked
What is the difference between baseball knickers and full-length pants?
Knickers stop below the knee and are worn with high socks or stirrups - common in travel ball, fastpitch and throwback looks. Full-length pants run to the shoe and are standard at high school, college and most adult levels.
Do your pants have reinforced knees?
Yes. Double-knee reinforcement is standard on youth and fastpitch cuts, and available on all adult cuts.
Can we order replacement pants without re-ordering the whole kit?
Yes. We keep your cut and colours on file, and replacement pairs on an existing design have no minimum.
Can you match pants to jerseys we already own?
Yes. Send a Pantone reference or an existing garment and we match it in the proof before production.
Do you make softball pants and shorts too?
Yes - fastpitch pants and knickers with reinforced knees, and slowpitch shorts, in true women’s and girls’ cuts.
