Jersey styles
Four cuts cover almost every program. The choice is mostly about tradition and league convention rather than performance.
| Style | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Full-button | High school, college, travel | The traditional look; easiest to layer over |
| Two-button | Youth and travel ball | Faster to get on and off, popular in youth leagues |
| Pullover | Practice, budget kits | No placket, lowest cost to produce |
| Sleeveless / vest | Warm-climate programs | Usually worn over a compression tee |
How the decoration compares
This is the decision that most affects how the jersey looks in year three. Sublimation puts the dye into the fibre, so there is nothing on the surface to crack. Twill is stitched on and extremely durable but limited to solid shapes. Screenprint is the cheapest and the first to show wear.
| Method | Colour limit | Lifespan | Relative cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Full-dye sublimation | Unlimited | Life of the garment | $$ |
| Tackle twill | Solid shapes only | Very long | $$$ |
| Screenprint | [X] colours max | Fades with washing | $ |
| Heat-applied vinyl | Solid shapes only | Shortest | $ |
Throwback and pinstripe designs
Sublimation handles designs that twill and screenprint cannot: pinstripes that line up across seams, faded vintage colourways, gradient sleeves and all-over patterns. Throwback designs are one of the most common requests we get from adult and alumni teams.
Numbering, nameplates and league rules
Player names and numbers are included in the per-player price - there is no per-character charge. Send the roster as a spreadsheet and we handle placement.
Some leagues specify minimum number height, front-number placement or restrict certain colours. If you tell us your league on the quote form we will flag anything in your design that would fail inspection.

Frequently asked
What is the difference between a baseball uniform and a baseball jersey order?
A jersey order is tops only. A uniform order is the full kit - jersey, pants, and usually cap, belt and socks. Most programs buying for a new season order the full kit; mid-season replacements and alumni or fan orders are usually jerseys only.
Are player names and numbers included in the price?
Yes. Names and numbers are included in the per-player price with no per-character charge.
Can you copy a throwback or professional jersey design?
We can build a design inspired by a historical look, but we cannot reproduce trademarked team marks, logos or wordmarks. Send us the reference and we will tell you what we can and cannot do.
What is the minimum jersey order?
[MOQ] jerseys for team pricing. Single replacement jerseys on an existing design have no minimum.
How durable is sublimation compared to screenprint?
Sublimation bonds dye into the polyester fibre, so there is no ink layer on the surface to crack, peel or fade. Screenprint sits on top of the fabric and will show wear after repeated washing. For uniforms expected to last multiple seasons, sublimation is the better value despite the higher upfront cost.
Do you make youth sizes?
Yes, YS through YXL alongside adult S through 4XL. Youth cuts differ in torso length and sleeve opening, not just chest measurement.
Can we add sponsor logos?
Yes, at no extra cost with sublimation. Sponsor placement on the sleeve or upper back is standard for travel and rec programs.
How long do custom baseball jerseys take?
[X] weeks standard from approved artwork, with rush service in [X] business days subject to capacity.
